Methodology

How we pick the news

Every paper starts from the same reading and ends with a different front page, because each company follows different competitors, products and customers.

1. We read the sources

For each industry we read trade publications, company and platform newsrooms, regulators and official announcements, and we add news and research services that cover companies by name. New sources are checked through the day.

When several outlets report the same story, we group them into one story and note who else reported it. A story many outlets carry is more likely to matter.

2. We rank every story for your company

When you sign up you give us your website. We work out your competitors, products, customers and topics, and you confirm or change them. There are no boolean searches to write.

Each story is ranked against that profile: does it name a competitor, affect a product you sell, change something for your customers, or touch a topic you follow? Then by how soon you'd need to act: today, this week or this month.

3. We say why it matters

Each story gets a short note on what it means for your company and a link to the original reporting, first. AI models help write those notes and sort the stories. They don't write the news: every story is someone else's reporting, and the note points you to it.

4. The paper learns from you

Mark a story relevant or not, and tomorrow's paper takes it into account. Add or drop a competitor or topic any time, and the next edition follows.

What we leave out

Passing mentions, press releases with no news in them, and duplicates of a story you've already read. A shorter paper you finish beats a longer one you skim.
