### Add-ons, inside the app

- Alerts (+$50/month): For the stories that can't wait until tomorrow. Sources checked every 15 minutes through the day; Alerts by email or text when a story can't wait; Choose who gets alerts, and which topics are urgent enough.
- Department sheets (+$200/month): A sheet of the paper for each team. Alerts included. Up to 5 department sheets, like sections of one newspaper; Each sheet has its own topics, readers, and alerts; Marketing, sales, product, and leadership read what matters to them; Everything in Alerts.

## Signing up

A person at the company has to agree to sign up; an agent can start it for them but never pays.

- MCP (no sign-in needed): add `https://mcp.nwsppr.ai/signup` as a remote MCP server and call `start_signup` (`list_plans` shows the plans first).
- HTTP: `POST https://www.nwsppr.ai/api/agents/signup` with JSON `{"email", "company", "website", "industry", "keep_up_with", "plan", "person_agreed": true}`. The reply says what the person does next.
- Human: send the person to https://www.nwsppr.ai/signup.

The reply includes a link for the person: Stripe checkout for their plan, or sign-in to finish setting up.

- `email` (required): the person's work email
- `company` (required): the company's name
- `website`: the company's website
- `industry`: one of `b2b-software`, `financial-services`, `retail-ecommerce`, `healthcare`, `consumer-brands`, `travel-hospitality`, `real-estate`, `automotive`, `manufacturing`, `education`, `energy`, `media-entertainment` (or its name)
- `keep_up_with`: competitors, products and topics to follow, comma separated
- `plan`: `daily` (default `daily`)
- `person_agreed` (required): `true`, meaning the person asked for or agreed to this signup
